Slack
Overview
Edgenivo Agent now joins your team's conversations in Slack, with the full context of your apps on Edgenivo across deployments, logs, metrics, project configuration, usage, and connected repositories.
Spot an incident? Ask Edgenivo to investigate the cause and bring insights into the discussion. When the conversation reaches a decision - on an incident, an operations change, or a feature - hand it to Edgenivo to implement. It plans the steps and presents them for your approval, so your team stays in control.
- Diagnose issues faster

Instructions
How it works
- Install the Edgenivo app from this page to connect your Edgenivo account and manage permissions.
- Mention @Edgenivo in any channel where it has been added, or send it a direct message.
- Individuals link their Edgenivo account the first time they interact with the agent.
How it stays safe
Edgenivo for Slack works from the discussion itself, and it acts only through plans you approve.
- Read-only by default. The agent investigates and answers freely, but any change to code or configuration requires approval.
- Plans before action. Edgenivo Agent shares a plan showing what it will do and what access it needs. Nothing runs until a person approves.
- Every action has a name on it. Approvals are tied to the approver's linked Edgenivo account, and the agent runs under its own scoped identity.
- Workspace channels only. The agent works in channels limited to your Slack workspace and is not available in Slack Connect or shared channels.
